        Hampshire Piano is a full service custom restoration house.  Established in 1979, we offer western Massachusetts a full line of piano restoration services from economy restoration at the lowest cost to our best conservatorial attention.  We are long-time veterans of the piano moving trade and offer that assistance along with climate controlled storage for both the long and short term.  Long distance shipping is available.

        We are also making our first foray into the new piano market.  What the Pioneer Valley needs is a good inexpensive piano for both students and professionals.  The new pianos from Pearl River meet this need with a vengeance, and we have brought in a small selection of their upright pianos chosen as the sweet spots of the line-- all available for your inspection and purchase at the strongest discount.

            We were also fortunate enough to save some of the archives of Erroll Putnam "Putt" Crowl.  One of the co-founders of the modern Piano Technicians Guild (the PTG, if you will), the collection contains old catalogs from extinct piano suppliers, pamphlets, brochures, and dealer catalogs advertising pianos from the 1920's through the 1970's, and a large amount of personal correspondence concerning the founding and early years of the PTG.  There is far more material than can be displayed on this site, but I plan on making some of the more choice articles available on our "archives page"; the rest will be listed in a catalog which I will be happy to make available to interested parties.
