Here are some pictures of a recent refinishing job. please note that some of the pictures were taken to show of the finish as a well rubbed surface, and others to show the light refractive properties of the wood with a new finish applied properly.  I could not seem to get both in one picture because I am not a professional photographer.  However both qualities are readily apparent in person.
